Al Salaam Limousine

Al Salaam Limousine operates a fraudulent scheme from the official Careem/Uber waiting line at DXB Airport. In my case, the driver told me he was driving for Careem. When I asked him if he needed my PIN first, he said he’d do it in the car, once I was in the car, he instantly drove out of the airport, before failing to enter the PIN multiple times. I realized afterwards that he was entering the wrong PIN on purpose to instead drive me "privately". At this point I couldn’t get out of the vehicle anymore since he had driven out of the airport already, but as I instantly sensed something was off, I made it clear that I live in the UAE and I’m not some clueless tourist that isn’t familiar with the standards. Careem quoted me approx. 105-120, the driver ended up charging me 130. I got away lucky, but as these reviews show, this is a very common occurrence with this company. I also lodged a complaint with Careem and am inquiring with Dubai Police about this misleading fraudulent activity. Avoid at all costs. Attached are the picture of the car that drove me and the 130 AED charge.

AL SALAAM LIMOUSINE – SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS I just want to understand how, with all these complaints online, these people are still running a business in Dubai. On the night of 31st December 2025, a man driving a black vehicle approached us and asked if we needed a taxi. We told him clearly that we did not want a private taxi. He replied, "No, I will take you. I have a meter like a normal taxi." We traveled from Marina Harbor to Deira. When we arrived, we said we would pay by card. He did not show us the fare. When we asked how much it was, he said AED 68. However, when he took the card, he charged AED 681. This was the most painful taxi loss we have ever experienced. We contacted the company, and they told us, "Don’t worry, you will be refunded." It has now been almost two weeks, and no one is answering our calls or replying to our WhatsApp messages. This is totally unacceptable. Let’s report this company everywhere so that Dubai can hear our voice and take action against these scammers.
