Al Habtoor Polo Club

I’ve been taking private lessons at Al Habtoor Riding School and have really enjoyed the experience. The environment is calm, friendly and well-organized, which makes it a great place to ride and learn. I’ve been riding with Sid Ahmed and can highly recommend him. He gives you space to actually ride and figure things out, instead of constant correction, which made a big difference for my learning. At the same time, he maintains the right level of demand in a calm and constructive way. My seat has improved, I understand the horse better, and most importantly my confidence has increased. I would recommend both the riding school and Sid to anyone looking for a supportive and high-quality learning environment.

I had a lovely stay at Al Habtoor Polo, where most of the services were excellent — the staff was courteous, the suite overlooking the polo field was spotless, and the facilities were beautifully maintained. The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the scent of the bathrobes, which had a strong curry-like smell. Even after housekeeping attended to the suite and replaced the robe, the new one had the same scent. This suggests they might not be laundered at a sufficiently high temperature. The towels were perfectly clean and fresh. While this was just a small detail, it did slightly impact the overall experience in an otherwise wonderful resort. The serene atmosphere and elegant surroundings truly made it a memorable escape.

The Equestrian Lounge at Al Habtoor Polo Club is a beautiful spot with a stunning view overlooking the polo field—perfect for a relaxed afternoon or a quiet coffee. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. If they could enhance the food and dessert options with better taste and presentation, it would elevate the experience even more. Overall, a lovely place with great potential

I strongly advise parents to ensure their children are properly supervised during lessons and not left alone!! Based on feedback from a recent experience shared within my family, there were concerns regarding the coach’s communication style and level of respect shown to riders!! A riding environment should feel supportive and professional, especially for young riders. I hope management reviews their coaching approach carefully.

I am sharing this review based on my recent experience with one of the coaches. Over multiple lessons, the conduct toward me was unprofessional and openly rude. The communication style lacked respect and did not reflect the standards expected in a professional training environment. What made the situation more concerning was that this behavior appeared to be directed solely at me. I did not witness the coach speaking to other riders in the same manner or showing the same level of annoyance toward them. The difference in treatment was noticeable and uncomfortable. I was particularly disappointed because I chose Al Habtoor expecting to be taught with respect and professionalism, given its reputation for being exceptional. As a student, instruction should be delivered with fairness, patience, and consistency. I hope this matter is taken seriously so that the standard of coaching the club is known and said to uphold is consistently reflected in every lesson.

Located toward al-ain road . The hotel looks nice but it is empty and lacks soul. Hard to reach the city from it and other touristic attractions but probably good for polo fans and people who love horses. Food is mediocre , rooms are spacious and very nicely designed . The pool is somewhat small in size too for a resort
