Used Convention360 to issue a notarised legal notice via Dubai Courts. The notice was eventually sent, so credit where it's due — but the experience from start to finish was defined by poor professional conduct. Three specific issues worth noting for anyone considering engaging them: 1. First, costs were communicated incrementally and without transparency. Additional charges appeared piecemeal, and the rationale for scope changes was only provided after we pressed for it — not proactively. 2. Second, we were verbally confirmed that a lawyer would attend a follow-up call with the opposing party. We were billed AED 3,000 for this — but only hours before the call, once the timing was confirmed. This is not how professional services engagements should be run. 3. Third, and most strikingly: when we raised these concerns in writing, the Legal Manager responded in a patronizing manner. That kind of condescension is precisely what you don't want from a firm you're trusting with a legal matter. Clients remember how they're treated, regardless of engagement size. We've moved to alternative counsel and would not return.
