Sheikh Rashid Auditorium

One of the best auditorium I have been to. Went for a live play few days before.

Located in Oud Metha ( Near Metro ) , inside Indian High School. Outside Paid Parking areas available, Approx 1,300 seats including balcony seats, 2 wash rooms available. Most Srilankan classical Music , Drama events are performed at this Auditorium. 2 Spacious dressing rooms at the back stage with wash rooms. Overall the best place to perform classical events. No liquor bar available and any foods and drinks are not allowed inside the Auditorium. The entrance has space for small restaurants which allow to sell food & soft drinks.

Very nice, beutiful, fully equipped auditorium, Shakh Rashid Auditorium is my one of the favourite place to enjoy events like Mushaira, Andaaz e Bayaan aur, social and cultural events.

Conveniently located in the Indian High School campus, the Auditorium serves mainly to the Indian community events but open to be rented by any community for entertainment, social events.

The auditorium is neat and clean with huge sitting arrangements. I visited recently to watch the Hasya Jatra show. Although, you might have to reach the venue much earlier than the actual show as there is usually a lot of traffic if the show is popular and it's really very difficult to find parking. Overall, there is strict security here with outside food not allowed in most of the cases.

Sheikh Rashid Auditorium at Indian High School, Oud Metha, Dubai, is a well-equipped venue with excellent acoustics and seating, ideal for cultural, educational, and corporate events. The school is known for encouraging culture and discipline while offering a well-rounded curriculum that balances academics, extracurricular activities, and personal development. While parking can be challenging during peak events, Dubai Metro (Oud Metha Metro Station) provides convenient access. A great venue overall!

This is the second time i am attending Mushaira and had good experience. The only thing is the access to gallery is a bit difficult. There should have been a lift.
