I prayed for the first time Fajr on 21 May 2026 (4 Zul Hijja 1447). Reached early and waiting for Manara center to open. The Masjid never closes even early morning you will find it open except in the night only. Washroom and abolution available and also free bread from the vending machine. It’s so peaceful and plenty of free parking around. There is a center as well infront of the Masjid to learn about Islam

The Al Farooq Mosque is a blessed place in Al Safa, Dubai. I’ve been coming with my family since its inauguration in 2011, and every time I enter under the great blue dome, I smell the soft incense and feel the presence of Allah along with the greatness of our second Caliph, Omar ibn Al Khattab. The design inspired by Ottoman architecture, with its 62-meter minarets and Quranic calligraphy in gold, reminds us of our deep Islamic roots. I recommend the guided tours on Saturdays and Thursdays to understand its history and message of tolerance – perfect for families. During Ramadan, the iftars here are unforgettable, with fresh dates and united community. JazakAllah khair to all who keep it impeccable. Come back always, it fills the soul every time. 🇦🇪

A beautiful mosque in Dubai, mashAllah. The exterior design is similar to Turkish mosques and the interior has many Moroccan elements, as well as stained-glass windows. There is a women’s section with clean and well-stocked bathrooms and ablution area. There are stairs and an elevator to get to the women’s prayer hall since it’s upstairs. The security is friendly and helpful.

SubhanAllah, what a beautiful initiative. «Bread for All» is currently available in only five locations across the UAE, but it’s truly a wonderful effort to support the community. The mosque itself is absolutely beautiful peaceful, well-maintained, and inspiring. May Allah reward everyone involved in this noble cause. Iftar distribution starts at 5:20-5:30 Approximately an hour before Magrib

Modeled after Istanbul’s iconic Blue Mosque, this one is definitely the younger sibling, a lot smaller, but still impressive in its own right. The blue tiles are stunning and the craftsmanship shows real intention. Dubai clearly doesn’t cut corners when it comes to mosques. Money, time, and design are all on full display here.

I’ve been a student at markaz Riad Al Saliheen since 6 years now and Alhamdulillah I’ve benefited greatly by joining here. The teachers and the supervisors are very kind and friendly and very helpful and considerate when it comes to hifdh of the students of any category (beginner, intermediate and advanced) Allahumma Barik. They have morning and evening sessions (for women and kids) and the kids in my family also love this markaz so much because of the way they are taught the Quran; by engaging them in other fun activities as well allahumma barik. I would highly recommend anyone seeking to memorize the Quran to join at markaz Riad Al Saliheen as their management is excellent. May Allah continue to bless the center and reward all the teachers and supervisors working behind it.

I would highly recommend this centre for learning quran with tajweed. They also have tafseer lectures which is upon the authentic sunnah and the understanding of the salaf. The teachers are very encouraging and patient. May Allah bless this center, the one who established it, the staff, and all the diligent and qualified teachers for their hard work, support, and making quran easy for us.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to study Arabic, and I’d especially like to thank Ms. Guzel for her patience, professionalism, and heartfelt passion for the language. These past two years have flown by, and the experience has been both enriching and inspiring. If you’re thinking about learning Arabic — go for it! The beginning might feel challenging, but with time, you’ll naturally find your rhythm and truly enjoy the journey.

Extremely disappointed. This is by far the most unorganized and unresponsive institution I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been trying to get accurate information for months, and no one seems to care enough to provide a clear or honest answer. The dates they give are constantly changing or inconsistent, and most of the time, they don’t even respond at all. I’ve tried calling, emailing, and reaching out to instructors — nothing works. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. A place like this should be far more reliable and respectful to the people they serve. Honestly, this kind of management is unacceptable. I truly hope they take these reviews seriously and start improving how they communicate and operate.

Frequently asked questions about islamic centers in Dubai

What are the primary functions of Islamic centers in Dubai?

Islamic centers in Dubai serve as community hubs that provide a variety of spiritual and social services. These centers are responsible for hosting daily prayers, providing religious education for children and adults, and offering a space for community gatherings. They also often facilitate charitable activities and provide guidance on Islamic jurisprudence for residents and visitors alike.

Are Islamic centers in Dubai open to non-Muslims?

Many Islamic centers in Dubai are open to the public, including non-Muslims who wish to learn about the faith. While the primary focus is on serving the Muslim community, these centers often host interfaith dialogues and cultural events. Visitors are generally welcome to observe the architectural beauty and learn about Islamic traditions, provided they respect the sanctity of the prayer spaces.

How can I find an Islamic center near my location in Dubai?

Finding a nearby center can be done through online maps, government directories, or by asking local residents. Dubai has a high density of centers, ranging from large mosques to smaller community centers. Most centers are clearly marked and often have designated prayer times listed on their websites or social media pages to help people plan their visits.

What types of educational programs do these centers offer?

Educational programs at Islamic centers in Dubai are diverse and cater to different age groups. They often include Quranic recitation classes, Hadith studies, and Arabic language courses. For children, many centers provide after-school programs that combine moral education with academic support, ensuring that the younger generation stays connected to their cultural heritage.

What is the dress code for visiting an Islamic center?

Visitors to Islamic centers in Dubai are expected to dress modestly. This typically means covering the shoulders and knees. For women, it is often recommended to wear a headscarf when entering the prayer hall, though this may not be mandatory in all community areas. Wearing clean and respectful attire shows appreciation for the religious significance of the location.

Can I attend Friday prayers at an Islamic center?

Yes, most Islamic centers in Dubai host Friday prayers (Jumu'ah), which are a significant weekly communal gathering. These prayers usually involve a sermon (Khutbah) delivered by an Imam. It is advisable to arrive early as these services can attract large crowds, and the centers may have specific entry protocols during peak prayer times.

Do Islamic centers provide counseling or spiritual guidance?

Many centers offer spiritual counseling and family mediation services. These services are designed to help individuals navigate personal challenges through the lens of Islamic teachings. They provide a supportive environment where people can seek advice on marriage, parenting, and personal growth from qualified religious scholars.

Are there specific centers for different nationalities?

While many centers are multicultural, there are often specific centers or groups that cater to different linguistic needs. Some centers may offer services in English, Urdu, Malayalam, or Arabic to accommodate the diverse expatriate population in Dubai. This ensures that diverse communities can access religious services in their native languages.

How do these centers contribute to the local community?

Islamic centers contribute to the Dubai community by promoting social cohesion and philanthropy. They often organize food drives, blood donation campaigns, and volunteer opportunities. By fostering a spirit of giving and cooperation, these centers play a vital role in the social fabric of the city.

What should I do if I have specific questions about Islamic practices?

If you have specific questions about Islamic practices, many centers have office hours where you can speak with a representative or a scholar. You can also reach out via official websites or phone numbers provided by the center. Most centers are happy to provide clarification and information to foster mutual understanding and respect.
