An ongoing lifestyle change eventually led me to TCH (in Motorcity) seeking to purchase my first bike, in a budget. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Saad, a TCH employee with vast experience in cycling. Saad was extremely friendly, totally engaged since the first minute I walked to the store. He was unbiased, transparent, provided thorough explanation about anything an absolute beginner like me asked, made budget friendly suggestions and overall offered an amazing purchasing experience. I left the shop fully satisfied, equipped with a wonderful (but inexpensive) bike and all necessary gear to commence my cycling adventures from the very first day. Thank you Saad and TCH

I’m completely new to cycling and honestly couldn’t have asked for better support. Mr Saad was fantastic — a real wealth of experience and clearly knows his stuff inside out. Also a very good salesman… considering I spent about five times what I originally planned 😂 What really stood out was the time he took with me. Nothing rushed, plenty of patience, and great follow-up on WhatsApp afterwards to make sure I was comfortable and confident getting into a new sport. Proper service, proper advice, and exactly what you want when you’re starting from zero. Highly recommended.

Malek has been super helpful in the recommendation and the care he provided me with, he helped me in the selection of the bike but also the service and all the equipment necessary for getting into riding safely. What I appreciated most about Malek is his hands on approach, asking the right questions to get to know me and to give me the perfect recommendation to suit my approach to cycling. The service of handover of the bike with all the explanation, the preparation and his genuine attitude really made the difference compared to many other shops I have been to when I was looking to purchase my first bike. Really want to thank Mechanic Micheal without whom I would not have ridden Spinneys race and qualified for World championships. My shifter cable gear got damaged in the car at the event , and he spent 45 mins with a phone torch and tools to fix it in the morning of the race under my full anxiety and stress! I made it to start line 10 mins before start and rode successfully. I did finish well and gave him a hug but I will never forget the morning and his service! Thank you Micheal .

While it took them the better part of a week to true and tension a carbon wheelset - which is not that great if you consider a branded concept store is supposed to have highly experienced bike mechanics/expert wheel builders - they got there eventually with some external ‘motivation’. So thanks, the wheels are sorted now. Thanks to Simon for taking charge and ensuring it got done in time for my trip and to the spec I requested. My critique remains as communicated in store though. Considering I handed over a newly laced and fully prepped wheelset, an experienced wheelbuilder should have been able to tension and true 2 wheels in a few hours - not a few days…so there is definitely room for improvement there.

I visited The Cycle Hub store today and was met with friendly and attentive staff. Gerard and Grace were very welcoming and Renato’s technical advice was invaluable . Big thank you to Saad for a fantastic job in ensuring everything was perfect. This team operates at a different level to most cycle outfits I have used over the years. They are knowledgeable, professional and passionate about cycling. Everything was set up with precision. If you are serious about cycling and want things done to a high standard, TCH is the benchmark in Dubai.
