Shanghai Me Dubai

Shanghai Me is where you go in DIFC for an upscale date night with amazing food, great service, and a chic atmosphere. We went on Friday after seeing the Hanami Nights menu on their Instagram, but you have to ask for it because it wasn’t on our table. It’s AED 258 pp from 6 to 10pm, and you get two starters, one main, one side, one dessert, and three drinks. I started with the short rib gyoza and sesame prawns on toast. The prawns definitely deserve a shoutout. For mains, I got the wagyu beef kushiyaki. I had it with Singapore noodles and egg fried rice, and the combination was to die for. They also accidentally brought us tender-stem broccoli, but let us keep it. For drinks, I tried the Warrior first, then ordered the Bon Vivant twice. It was light, airy, almost like a soda, but packed with flavour. Easily my favourite drink of the night. I finished with the matcha tiramisu. The service was really helpful, and the entire place had that upscale, chic date-night vibe without feeling too formal. They also have a hidden lounge called Bund that opens after midnight with a DJ. I’ll definitely be back for the food, the atmosphere, and to finally check out Bund!

Went to Shanghai Me for my birthday dinner and opted for the Careem-exclusive set menu, and it exceeded all expectations. For starters, I chose the Yellowtail Sushi Roll while my husband had the Dim Sum Basket. From the very first bite, we were genuinely impressed. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, flavorful, and memorable. I can still recall the taste when I think about it. The main courses and desserts were equally outstanding, with every dish beautifully presented and packed with flavor. A special mention to the staff, who were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the evening, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Shanghai Me has easily earned a spot among my favorite restaurants in the UAE, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Service was smooth, quick, and professional throughout the evening. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in DIFC and will absolutely be coming back again.

Where exceptional Asian cuisine meets one of the most elegant interiors in Dubai. Shanghai Me Dubai is effortlessly stylish, with a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that makes the entire experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The dim sum platter, sushi rolls, crispy duck salad, black pepper beef, sweet-and-sour prawns, and egg fried rice were all beautifully executed, refined, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Japanese cheesecake was light and delicate, while the Stalwart cocktail added the perfect finishing touch. Service was impeccable throughout the evening, and the hidden lounge inside the restaurant is absolutely stunning — elegant decor, great music, and a beautiful ambiance for a late-night escape. One of Dubai’s most refined Asian dining destinations.

Good place for dinner with friends, Buisness dinner or date. Beautiful interior and amazing service. Good quality of food and drinks. I really like mango passion fruit cocktail. Also I like that they have vegetarian positions. We selebrated here birthday and it was good experience.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with elegant décor and attentive staff who make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely delicious—full of authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the dumplings and the sweet-and-sour chicken, both cooked to perfection. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. Whether for a family dinner or a casual night out, this place is definitely worth visiting. I will happily come back again!

Food is decorated nice with reasonable price (~300aed for each), noodles just a bit salty, but the taste of all dishes is still nice generally. Staff Yazan served us so well. Music is good, suitable for the young. Good time good mood. Thank you for all 🫶🏻
