Really enjoyed this coffee shop in One Central. Clean, uncluttered focus on doing one thing right - produce exceptional coffee. Informed and friendly staff. And I adore the name: The Dark Door … like a portal into a fantasy roaster world :-). Oh, and yes, the coffee was awesome! 🙌 Will definitely be back.

The place is quiet and the atmosphere is wonderful. The long black coffee was average (I wish there was a specialty coffee for coffee lovers). The flat white coffee was good, and the tiramisu was delicious and light. The prices are very reasonable; I recommend trying it.

The place itself is very nice. Especially the area around. Dear customers, please just make sure there are no insects in your drink. I was served a very tasty iced tea, but when I finished it, I saw a fly stuck to an ice cube. Of course, the staff kindly offered to treat me to something else as compensation, but in my opinion, the food industry should pay more attention to such details.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the Americano tasted like burnt coffee with water, the kinder rocky road was VERYY SWEET that its not edible, I couldn’t taste anything but sugar it was overwhelming we couldn’t eat it. However, the Cortado was nice and the viral cake was good & moderately sweet.

I would only have coffee in this place , the atmosphere is nice but non of the three desserts i tried from their display are up to standards . The brownie was tasteless not fudgy . The san Sebastian was soury , the one in the picture i asked for it in replacement of the brownie and was "okay" . Paid the price difference .

Dark Room is a standout spot for true coffee lovers. I had an AeroPress Kenyan coffee and a V60 Ethiopian Kercha, and both were excellent—clean, well-balanced, and full of character, showing real care in sourcing and brewing. The flavors were distinct and thoughtfully extracted, which says a lot about the baristas’ skill. On top of that, the area itself is really nice, calm, and inviting, making it a perfect place to slow down and actually enjoy your coffee. Definitely a place I’d return to.
