Massimo’s Italian Restaurant - Dubai Marina

Unfortunately, our experience at Massimo’s Italian Restaurant in Dubai Marina was disappointing. I originally wanted to order the Filetto, but it wasn’t available, so I chose the Cotoletta alla Milanese instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a bad choice. I didn’t expect the dish to be this poor, especially considering the price. The cutlet was overcooked, dry and completely lacking flavor. We also ordered tuna fillet, which had the same problem — dry and tasteless. Maybe pizza and pasta here are of acceptable quality, but the meat and fish dishes we tried were some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant offers complimentary bread and olives, but the bread was extremely dry, almost like crackers. The service itself was good, and the manager even tried to improve the situation by offering us desserts. However, in my opinion, no dessert can compensate for such poorly prepared main dishes. The prices clearly do not match the quality of the food. I also noticed what appears to be a large number of suspiciously positive reviews, which unfortunately does not increase trust in this place.

We had a lovely dinner. 💕 The food was simple and straightforward—no fuss! The true essence of Italian cuisine. 👌🏼 My husband was particularly impressed with their affogato. He loved it when we visited Florence and wanted to try something similar, and the restaurant did not disappoint. We will definitely recommend this place and dine here again when we’re in the area. 💛

A beautiful Italian place in Marina The food was 10/10 Do try their Risottos and burrata pizza fresh out of the oven. The Shrimp was fresh 🙂 The best was the Gelato if you are going there save some place for the 28 options of Gelato that you can choose from. Service was 10/10

I had a wonderful experience at Massimo in Dubai Marina, and I especially want to highlight Basel for his outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Basel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us — always checking in with a warm smile and making great recommendations. His accommodating attitude and professionalism truly made our visit memorable. It’s rare to find service that feels so personal and sincere. Thank you, Basil, for making our dining experience so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Massimo to anyone visiting Dubai Marina!

Delicious 😋I ordered a turkey ham pizza, a garlic shrimp, finished with mocha gelato. The taste and texture of gelato is amazing, I would come back, just yo try more flavors.

Amazing spot and perfect Valentine's dinner We started with some tempura (shrimps and calamari) - the best we tried so far (and we tried lots of), full of taste, perfect We also order pumpkin soup - soooooo delicious and prancing that were very tasty For main course we ordered porcini ravioli and porcini risotto (we asked to remove truffle and the request was delivered perfectly) and both were very good, very tasty The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is very polite, the all team, specially Bhanu, is very polite, kind, nice, always focus on the customer and also, with some sense of humor that we really appreciate.
