Dubai Creek Striders is one the oldest and finest running club. I have been running with this club for more than 9 years and it has been an amazing journey with them. They are friendlier and such an inclusive club who not only helped to become a better runner but also gave me an opportunity to become a part of the team. Dubai Creek Striders is one of the best running communities in Dubai! The club is incredibly welcoming and supportive, especially for new runners. The most inclusive running club in Dubai. Started in 1995, sometimes it is safe to say: old is actually Gold. I got introduced into the group in right earnest only in 2018. And since then, I can only think of good things to say. I have been a group leader, pacer, and now head up the track sessions every Wednesday. Dubai Creek Striders is more than just a running club; it’s a true community. What makes this group so special is how inclusive and welcoming it is. Runners of all abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned marathoners, are embraced with the same warmth and encouragement. The club has a unique culture of openness and welcomes runners from other clubs and crews, creating a spirit of unity rather than competition. It’s not just about the runs, it’s about the friendships, support, and motivation that come with them. Another thing I admire is that the club is completely non-profit and volunteer-driven. Every effort is put back into the community, ensuring that the focus remains on running, wellbeing, and connection. Through DCS, I discovered so many new and beautiful running routes across Dubai that I would have never explored on my own. Now that I’m in the UK, I honestly miss the DCS club runs and the incredible energy of the team. Been running with DCS since the last 4 to 5 years and the runners have just kept growing months and year after year not only that we have various locations from where runners meet, connect and run. The group leaders not only guide you well before the sessions but also take care of you during the runs. I joined DCS running club since 2018. The weekly long runs around different parts of Dubai were amazing and I just couldn't miss them. DCS half marathon has the best iconic route in the city. The club is open for everyone and anyone from different levels. Whether you want to train for your first marathon or achieve a new personal best, you will surely find the guidance and support from the club.
