Thrift for good is a charity shop in Dubai which raises funds to support childen all over the world by selling items which might be unwanted by someone but useful to others. It was my 16 years old daughter Riya, who found this information on the net and persisted me to visit the shop. So we drove all the way from Abu Dhabi to Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. They have two shops, both in Dubai, one in Golden miles galleria building no. 8 in Palm Jumeirah and the other in Times Square mall. There is no outlet in Abu Dhabi. It had clothes, imitation jewellery, bags, purses, dresses, books, shoes and many other miscellaneous items of decoration. You can also donate your things or/and purchase to contribute your share to the noble cause. It represents the three 'R's policy of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. I am proud of my daughter for her noble gesture which has awakened the good in me and I have decided to donate some of my things which I do not need but may be of use to others. It made me happy to see this act of kindness inculcate in the young minds to support and help the deprived. I would recommend all to visit this shop and contribute to make this world a better place to live.

Beautiful souls work there, awesome products, great prices, & the best thing of all is the cause! Stylish space, pristinely prepared clothes & other things — this might arguably be one of the best modern thrifting experiences I've ever had! They don't even use plastic bags 😍 only starch-based biodegradable ones Definitely will be back!

Was happity to find a second hand clothing store in Dubai! This place was a total treasure in this city of ultimate overconsumption! Money spent on these clothes is used again in various education, health care and housing-projects around the world. During my stay I have bought only one piece of clothing and it was from here 👌. I hope shops like this could spread around Dubai. I also wish there would be more advanced clothing recycle system in the city. The prices of this store were a bit higher compared to second hand stores in Scandinavia, but still very cheap compared to buying brand new clothing. I highly recommend! 👌

Until I found Thrift for good. The best thing about this place is the cause that they are supporting. After a while, I learned that they were also accepting volunteers to join them in fulfilling their mission to help little children around the world and to help the environment by initiating sustainability through thrifting clothes. And through volunteering with them I met amazing people. Thank you Thrift for Good for existing and for being there for the children and the world!!!
