X Desert Safari Dubai - Al Marjan Desert Camp
X Desert Safari Dubai - Al Marjan Desert Camp offers a desert excursion characterized by dune bashing and traditional entertainment. While the camp features a variety of shows and fire dances, the organization of specific activities like sand skating can feel inconsistent. Visitors may find the experience varies depending on the booking tier selected.
The VIP experience includes dedicated seating and prioritized dining service. However, guests should be aware of additional costs for amenities such as tea or hookah. The overall atmosphere provides a structured way to see the desert, though the quality of the culinary offerings remains a point of consideration.

What a great excursion this was. If you visit Dubai do this!! Reminded me of Indiana Jones scenes 🙂 and ended with a BBQ and show!
Wow, what an experience. An adventure we will never forget in our life. Thanks to Dubai.
The only good thing was the driver who took us through the desert. I don't think it was worth it. First, when you get down. They ask you if you want to change to VIP, do it beforehand as they ask triple the price there. We were booked for VIP, so it was fine for us. The camal ride is a joke. They make you sit on camal and make camel get up to take the smallest round possible, basically 10 steps and take you down. You pay extra to take a bigger round and that's 10 feet rather than 10 steps. VIP get sofas rather than sitting on the floor seating, which also seems to be a good experience. Food was not bad, VIP people get food earlier- almost an hour earlier than others. They offer sand skating, but it was not organized at all. There was no one from the place who would give turns to people and they only had one skate board. There was a belly dance, other shows and they offer hookah for extra money and tea for extra money if you want. Basically, anything other than given food, and they bring book to you to choose from is extra money.
Place was good... the entertainment was asome unlike other camps which usually has to performances...they had 5 and the fire dance was something new. Although the foods were not that great even as we have booked the VIP, first they would serve us before the rest would eat, down side was that we are non-veg and the choices for us were only the barbecue and that they gave us a a very few serving.
I do not recommend.... We bought a aed 35 package and it was an absolute shocker. The dune bashing was some 5min drive from cad park to the camp. It was ok. Once you arrive their, either pay additional aed 50 pp for vip zone or get ready for a shabby treatment. After arrival, everything is paid.. henna is free if you draw just a flower, camel ride is just for photo else pay, arabic dress was so dirty, you cant wear...a photo will cost aed 50 while a pic with falcon 20...we arrived at 5-30 pm and when asked for cold water, they asked to come back after an hour as they dont have ice !!!while booking, we were told unlimited veg non veg starter and meals. But what came was gobi pakora as a starter and for meals it was 1 pc of chicken tikka with absolute average rice and dal. That too they will announce when you need to stand in queue for snacks and meals. It felt like we were not for holidays but into a relief camp..for gobi pakora we stood in queue at 7-30 while for meals, 8...until 7-30, nothing was served. Tea was so pathetic,i better dont mention it. Alcohol is available but again is very expensive.. All performances were very average and i am sure Dubai has much much better camps.. The camp is managed by unprofessional Pakistani group and i would not recommend it to any one....
Just 4 min ride and below average food. After show over, there is no proper drop facility.... Apart from this nice camel ride, good sunset view and family or friends memorable rememberace is true.
It was overall good experience, really enjoyed the dune bashing, free unlimited soft drinks, good started and overall good quality food. Shows were good. Few things that I did not like were, no clear schedule and wrong information being provided. Everyone is trying to sell sell sell including the management which can be a bit annoying. But overall good experience and recommended.
