I've got into a situation where I, along with a couple of other tenants, ended up losing money because of an unauthorized subleasing arrangement. Enlighten Properties arranged this sublease between me and the person who was collecting the rent. I paid the money in good faith, paid AED 6,000 in agency commissions because two agents were involved (Liza and Naveed), and moved into the apartment. Around 10 months later, I was evicted after the real owner opened an eviction case. Throughout the process, both agents as well as the owner of the agency told me to stay in the apartment because "it's a long process and it will take a long time to evict you". No solution was ever provided. After I was evicted, Liza told me that "you stayed for 10 months, after the contract is signed the job of the agent is finished". At the same time, Naveed's response was simply to proceed with a RERA/DLD complaint. As a result, I lost around AED 10,000, paid AED 6,000 in commissions, and had to deal with months of stress, uncertainty, and an eviction process that disrupted my life. I have all the contracts, messages, and other evidence related to this case and will be pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this agency to carry out very thorough due diligence first.

I had a very disappointing experience with Enlighten Properties. I paid the full annual rent, a AED 4,000 security deposit, and a AED 4,000 commission. Despite fulfilling my financial obligations, I was forced to leave the apartment, and I am still struggling to recover my money. I strongly advise anyone considering dealing with this company to exercise caution and ensure that all terms and protections are clearly documented before making any payments. I am currently seeking the return of my deposit and other funds owed to me. If anyone would like more information about my experience, please contact me privately.
