We went for dinner yesterday with a group of 14 people, adults and kids alike loved their offering. Service was quick and variety was abundant. Food was medium spicy just the way we prefer it to be. Unlimited chat was a great experience. Loved the desi kulfi served at the end.

We specially visited the Al Karama branch just for the Amras Thali. I’ve been to Maharaja Bhog several times before, but this was my first visit to the Karama branch. I really loved their Gujarati dal, khichdi with pure ghee, and even the Amras tasted authentic Gujarati style. We first had the chaat Pani Puri, which was also nice. Thank you, Anu, for the great hospitality!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Maharaja Bhog! The restaurant truly lives up to its name by offering a royal Rajasthani–Gujarati thali experience. The variety of dishes served was impressive, and everything was freshly prepared with authentic flavors. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making sure our plates were always full and explaining each item with care. The ambiance was warm and traditional, adding to the overall cultural experience. I especially loved the sweets and the range of curries—they were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, a must-visit place for anyone who loves traditional Indian cuisine and a royal dining experience. Highly recommended!

Our team of five enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this place. It was my first time trying a vegetarian Gujarati style restaurant, and I absolutely loved it. The experience went beyond just a meal—there was something special about the way they served the food. They kept feeding us delicious dishes, and the service was truly exceptional. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience!

Maharaja Bhog offers one of the best Gujarati Thali experiences in Dubai. As you enter you are greeted with friendly staffs who will lead you to you seats and then you can go ahead to the pani puri stand where you are served N number of pani puris, as many as you wish. Their food is authentic, flavorful, and gives a true homely feel. I specially enjoyed the moong halwa and the sweet mango ras. What a delight. They serve nonstop and you can always ask for an addition. The only drawbacks are the parking, which can be difficult, and the place can get quite noisy during busy hours. Overall, it’s still a must-visit for anyone craving a delicious, traditional Gujarati thali in the city!♡

We visited Maharaja Bhog in Karama with our family and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the food was incredibly tasty. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant serving truly authentic Indian dishes. While it is a bit on the pricier side, it is absolutely a must-try. It’s the perfect place to go with family and friends to sit back, relax, and take your time enjoying a great meal. Highly recommended for a special treat!

MACAUEAT澳門美食

Really enjoyed my visit to Choki Dhani. It’s a great spot in Al Seef to experience the flavours of North India, specifically Rajasthan. lead by chef Vinay and managed by Mr Rawat. We went for the thali, which gave us a bit of everything—great way to try different dishes in one meal. The butter chicken stood out, rich and creamy just as it should be. The setting adds to the experience too—relaxed vibe, fits well with the Al Seef area. If you’re around and in the mood for authentic North Indian food, definitely worth a stop.

November 2025 4* Visited the place with a colleague. The ambiance is really nice as it is on water front. There is folk music at the gate. You can either go to buffet on ground floor and ala carte on first floor. Staff is friendly and helpful. Here is my food list: – Papad masala ***** – Chatpata Aalo ***** – Daal Bhatti ***** – Gatte Subji ***** – Bajra roti ***** – Ginger tea ***** Food was good as I tried after long time. Daal bhatti is served with chili chutney, pickle and choorma. Bhatti was little hard and can be more soft. We spent around AED 300 for two people. The ground floor is accessible but first floor may not be very accessible.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Planet Terra last night. The setting is beautiful—there is plenty of seating both inside and out, but sitting outdoors was a highlight for us. It’s very peaceful with a lovely view of the water. 🌊✨ The service was excellent. Our waitress, Elizabeth, and the owner were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of! What we enjoyed: • Signature Burger & Oh So Chic Fillet Burger: Both were delicious and very filling. The Signature Burger was my personal favorite! 🍔 • Hibiscus Rose Iced Tea & Orange Juice: The iced tea is a must-try—so refreshing and unique. 🍹 • Caramel Cheesecake: A decadent and perfect way to end the night. 🍰 • We even grabbed a Croissant to go, which looked too good to pass up! 🥐 On the price: As is common in Dubai, it’s a bit pricey. Our total was around 260 AED (excluding tip) for the two of us. While it’s an investment, you definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. Given the organic quality of the food, the great service, and the serene atmosphere, we felt it was worth it for such a lovely evening. 💸🙌 If you’re looking for high-quality, plant-based food in a beautiful spot, this is definitely the place to be! 🌱

If you didn’t tell me it was vegan I genuinely wouldn’t know. I’ve been going to Planet Terra for the past three years and what keeps bringing me back is the consistency. The quality hasn’t dropped the flavors haven’t changed and that says a lot. If anything they keep refining and elevating what they do without ever compromising on ingredients. We recently went for their Iftar, and it was such a beautiful combination of Middle Eastern dishes comforting, generous, and deeply flavorful. The vegan Shish Barak was incredibly satisfying and «meaty,» paired perfectly with their almond yogurt. What stands out about Planet Terra is that the food doesn’t feel like a vegan alternative. It feels complete. They also offer an à la carte menu with equally impressive dishes, and honestly, they’ve never disappointed me. Every visit feels thoughtfully curated from the quality of the produce to the presentation. You can tell they care about the details. One thing I personally appreciate: they fry with olive oil. Since I’ve stopped consuming seed oils, this matters to me and it’s rare to find restaurants that are that intentional about the oils they use. They prove that plant-based food can be indulgent, satisfying, and deeply flavorful without trying too hard to imitate anything.

If you’re into vegan food, Planet Terra is great. They serve a wide variety of creative vegan dishes, fresh juices, non-dairy milkshakes and more. I ordered a Buddha bowl from the starters section but the portion was generous and I was pretty full. My friend their oyster supreme «vurger» and she said it was delicious. Definitely recommended.

I really liked this place! It’s 100% vegan, which is already a big plus since it’s not easy to find good vegan restaurants. I ordered two dishes and a smoothie — everything was super good, fresh, and flavorful. The portions were big enough to feel satisfied, and the price makes sense for the quality and effort that goes into vegan food (though it might feel a bit high for someone who doesn’t know the value of vegan meals). Overall, I totally recommend it!

Tucked away in bustling Bur Dubai, this gem welcomes you with warm lighting, elegant decor inspired by traditional Indian motifs, and the irresistible aroma of spices wafting from the open kitchen—pure bliss from the moment you step in. Good tasty food, but a heads up – if you order via delivery app, your hot beverage will come in a PLASTIC FOOD CONTAINER, so you can drink some microplastics with your filter coffee… Never have I ever seen any other restaurant doing this, everyone else uses cups. Now can’t even drink what I ordered. I recommend using other restaurants with better standard practices.

Ive been here multiple times..so overall review. Overall I don’t remember any dish being remarkable but for a satisfying veg food this is the only option I had during my stay. The tea/coffee was so huge quantity!! I don’t remember the cost but that was a lot. Meals -3/5 – taste wise.. tasteless but many varieties offered. Kichidi was good. Dosas were ok ..I won’t say best. Service- I had to tell the waiter to get the Andhra masala dosa and not a paper dosa for which they dint even look at my face till the end. So…they kept asking my friend ‘sir do you need anything? Sir did you like the food? Sir water? Sir bill? While I paid the bill and I questioned why the dosa is soo thin! I don’t know why they felt so bad while I should feel bad for paying such high amount and getting a paper and such service in return.

During my short visit to Dubai, I visited Kamat on a friend’s recommendation. I tried the Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup and Rava Mysore Masala Dosa, which were average in taste. The masala filling was limited in quantity and just okay in flavor. However, the service and staff at the restaurant were good.

We a family of 3 came here for dinner today. Saw things very unusual. On a table adjacent to us, came two ladies to hv food. They ate and went away. Both of them didn’t used the water glasses. But they ate on that table, and the staff didn’t removed those glasses. They were left on the table for the next guest. After seeing this, I doubt on the hygiene of kamat business bay restaurant. My husband and I had lunch today. We ordered an Aamras thali and the regular unlimited thali along with the tandoori momos. The food and the service was absolutely lovely. A shout out to Lakshmi & Arjun who assisted us with our order. The patrons; Rohan & Ruchi visited every table and had a chat with all the guests adding a person touch. We left with a takeaway of chai and bun maska to enjoy while watched the IPL at home. The UAE flag on the glass window in solidarity with the nation in the current times was indeed very patriotic! Looking forward to my next visit :).

One of those places in Dubai that gives you «Maa k hath ka swaad» A must visit place in Oud Metha when you crave vegetarian food. Their Dal Khichdi is an absolute steller with garlic tadka, A must try on the visit. During winters, we tried their sizzling gazar halwa. The fish is seasonal and made with only desi carrot. The bill doesn’t hurt your pocket. The owners are friendly and open to feedback.

I am not vegan, but trying Wild & The Moon in Alserkal Avenue was a very pleasant surprise. I honestly couldn’t believe how close the taste was to real meat—the flavors were rich, satisfying, and far beyond what I expected from a zero-meat menu. The food was great, and it’s impressive how the chefs are able to create such delicious dishes using only plant-based ingredients. I brought my whole family, and we tried the Wild Burger, Asian Wild Burger, nachos, tacos, fries and nuggets for my kids and even the quesadilla, everything was amazing. There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy. If you’ve never tried vegan food before, this place is a must-try. On top of the great food, the staff truly made the experience even better. They were very accommodating, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic experience from food to service. Highly recommended!

I’ve honestly had the best date cookies and brownies from Wild & The Moon, everything was unbelievably tasty. The date cookies were perfectly soft and naturally sweet and the brownies were rich, indulgent and just the right balance without feeling too heavy. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s rare to find treats that feel this wholesome yet still so satisfying. We highly recommend trying them and we’ll definitely be ordering again. It’s officially on our weekend treats menu now 😀 something we’ll keep coming back to!

When you enter this place, you can immediately smell food! Nonetheless, we went and checked it out. We ordered kebab sandwich and some smoothies. When the guy cooked the kebab, the entire place smelled like fish! It’s suffocating. No exhaust at all. The food was okay and the guy working there was nice but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the place at all. We left without finishing our meal.

Wild & The Moon in Alserkal Avenue is a decent spot for organic and healthy food. They have a good selection of takeaway meals and fresh juices. The atmosphere is calm with some greenery around, creating a relaxed vibe. However, there was a strange smell when I entered, which made the first impression a bit off. Otherwise, it’s a fair place if you’re into healthy eating.

If you’re looking for a place that redefines clean eating while offering a breathtaking view, Wild & The Moon is the ultimate spot! The moment I walked in, I felt an instant sense of calm. The minimalist, earthy interior perfectly complements the stunning view of the Burj Khalifa and the lively Downtown streets. Whether you’re here for a slow morning coffee or an evening smoothie, the ambiance is just perfect—relaxing, modern, and effortlessly chic. The best part? Everything is homemade, organic, plant-based, and gluten-free—but trust me, you won’t miss a thing! Every bite is packed with flavor and freshness. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about healthy living. They’re always happy to recommend dishes based on your preferences, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. So, regardless of you’re a health-conscious foodie or just looking for a beautiful spot to unwind with a view, this place is a must-visit in Dubai! Highly recommend for solo diners, brunch with friends, or even a cozy work session. Pro Tip: Grab a seat by the outdoor area for the best Burj Khalifa views!

Had tea- Masala chai and more ginger mixed tea, I liked it however others says ginger is added more. Samosa and chutney are good Tasted milk sweets More authentic and lord Krishna theme shop (Iskon) Packing boxes are beautiful Areas of improvement – staffs has to take ownership. Great place to eat. I would highly recommend it for dinner. Great service and food. Ice-cream is a must try. The staff is kind. Ambience is great but personally I like a bit more softer lighting. But I wouldn’t recommend tandoori platter. Didn’t like that one dish, especially the cheese kabab. And also no mirror in the washroom 😅

Clean and spacious seating with good ambience. The staff were polite. The breakfast menu is very cheap and is only aed 10 which is amazing. There is free parking available inside the building. Food was fine. We had the Bombay sandwich and chole bhattura with tea. Bombay sandwich was normal and chole bhattura felt a bit thicker than usual. The curry was good. Tea was great. Peaceful ambience and wasn’t crowded at all during a weekday.

This restaurant deserves 10 stars ⭐️ not 5! ⭐️ They are aimed at providing the best quality of food for the customers. I would personally rate this 10 out 10 stars. ⭐️ Firstly because it is very clean, and very neat and very hygienic. I really admire their food safety and food quality. They are absolutely clean and I admire their food safety and food cleanliness standards. Cleanliness is the number one important factor in giving this review. Second thing I admire is the taste of the food. The meals are authentic North Indian style and full of flavor. I loved their soups during winter it is so so flavorful and healthy. All natural healthy ingredients used . Third thing is they are so attentive to customers allergies . I am allergic to cabbage and requested no cabbage less spice and oil which they made sure to keep in mind during preparation. Fourth, I LOVE their kaju katli and laddoos, they are so clean and delicious and so very tasty and flavorful! Their sweets are literally the best Indian sweets you can even find ! As fresh as ever…too good you must try!!! And lastly the ambiance is very nice . The price is affordable and good and the service is nice … must visit if you are looking for top notch Indian food in Dubai! I hope they live up to your expectations and continue with the same high quality of standards and hygiene I really appreciate the wonderful hospitality!

A great go-to for vegetarian South Indian food in Karama! We tried the masala dosa — tasty and well-made, though the masala filling could be a bit more generous. The restaurant is clean, easy to spot, and conveniently located behind Karama Centre. Seating is comfortable and well-organised. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always eager to serve — a big plus! The menu impresses with a wide dosa variety, including unique options like chocolate dosa and mushroom dosa. Only downside: parking is paid. Overall, a recommended stop for quality veg food!

This was another new try during my visit in dubai and I must say i am so happy to give it a chance. I ordered from talabat and food was excellent. We tried button ghee idli, idli sambhar, onion masala dosa, mix veg noodles, wheat parotha, jeera rice, fresh lime soda, dry fruit lassi. We were very hungry and forgot to take photos of some times or took half way eaten. I was so pleased with authentic idli dosa. Idli was soft and spongy, dosa was well cooked with right balance of masala, sambhar & chutneys was also very good. After a long time i had street style veg noodles for which i was craving a lot. I wasn’t expecting noodles to be this good honestly but it had right amount of veg, paneer and black pepper in too which enhanced the flavor so much. They did follow my instructions to not add mushroom and cabbage making it best as I wanted. Parotha was made of wheat as we like and jeera rice was also extremely good with jeera and coriander. Fresh lime soda could have been a bit better. Dry fruit lassi (forgot to take photo) had dry fruit powder. I wish there were some chewable dry fruits too. Definitely going to have here again .

Frequently asked questions about vegan & vegetarian restaurants in Dubai

Are there many vegan and vegetarian options available in Dubai?

Yes, Dubai has seen a significant increase in the number of dedicated plant-based eateries and vegetarian-friendly establishments. The city caters to a diverse international population, which has led to a surge in high-quality dining options that focus on meat-free cuisines, ranging from traditional Middle Eastern dishes to modern fusion concepts.

Can I find authentic Middle Eastern vegetarian food?

Absolutely. Traditional Middle Eastern cuisine is naturally rich in vegetarian-friendly dishes. Many restaurants in Dubai serve hummus, falafel, and tabbouleh, which are staples of the region. Many of these items are naturally vegan, making it easy for plant-based diners to enjoy authentic local flavors without much difficulty.

Is it easy to find vegan options in high-end dining venues?

Most fine dining establishments and luxury hotels in Dubai now offer dedicated vegan menus or clearly marked vegetarian options. Chefs are increasingly skilled at creating gourmet plant-based dishes that utilize high-quality ingredients like truffles, quinoa, and organic vegetables to ensure a premium experience for all guests.

What are the best areas to find vegan restaurants?

Several neighborhoods are known for having a high concentration of health-conscious and plant-based cafes. Areas such as Dubai Marina, Jumeirah, and Al Quoz often host a variety of specialty cafes. These locations are popular for those seeking organic produce, vegan desserts, and specialized health food options.

Are vegan restaurants in Dubai generally affordable?

The pricing of vegan and vegetarian meals in Dubai varies widely. You can find budget-friendly vegan street food and quick-service cafes, as well as premium dining experiences where prices are higher. It is advisable to check the menu prices online before visiting to ensure the venue fits your intended budget.

How do I know if a dish is truly vegan or just vegetarian?

It is always recommended to verify ingredients with the server, as some vegetarian dishes may contain dairy, eggs, or honey. When dining out, asking about the preparation methods can help ensure that no animal-derived fats or stocks were used in the cooking process. Many restaurants now provide clear labeling on their menus to assist with this.

Are there many vegan-friendly options for breakfast?

Dubai offers a wide array of plant-based breakfast options. Many cafes provide vegan pancakes, avocado toast, and fruit bowls. Additionally, many traditional breakfast spots offer vegan-friendly juices and specialty coffees made with oat, almond, or soy milk alternatives.

Can I find gluten-free vegan options in Dubai?

Yes, many vegan restaurants in Dubai also cater to gluten-free requirements. There is a growing trend toward inclusive dining, where kitchens offer items that are both plant-based and free from gluten. Look for establishments that specialize in healthy lifestyles and holistic nutrition.

Do vegan restaurants in Dubai offer delivery services?

Most vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the city are integrated with major delivery platforms. This allows residents and tourists to have plant-based meals delivered directly to their homes or offices. Many of these services offer real-time tracking and a variety of packaging options to keep the food fresh.

Are there many vegan-friendly options for large groups?

Many restaurants in Dubai are well-equipped to handle large group bookings and can accommodate specific dietary needs. When booking for a group, it is helpful to inform the restaurant in advance about the number of vegan guests so they can prepare a tailored menu that ensures everyone has a satisfying and delicious meal.
