Residence Inn by Marriott Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai

Very disappointing experience at Residence Inn by Marriott Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.||I stayed here for 7 days in a Suite Room category expecting decent hospitality because it’s a Marriott property, but the experience was completely opposite.||The front desk staff was extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Nobody even picks up the phone properly, and basic guest handling standards were missing throughout the stay. The F&B team attitude was also very poor and unwelcoming.||What was most disappointing was the way Indian guests are treated. The hotel promotes itself as being welcoming and "loved by Indians," but honestly I felt the maximum disrespect was towards Indian guests only.||For the amount charged and the Marriott branding, the service quality was unacceptable. Hospitality should be about respect and professionalism, which was seriously lacking here.||Would not recommend this property, especially to Indian families or business travellers expecting basic courtesy and service standards.

extreme disappointing stay! The elevators took 10–15 minutes every single time, which was extremely frustrating and not acceptable. I had to walk 40floors up to reach the gym. Despite clearly requesting a non-smoking room, we were given a smoking room with a strong odor. The AC did not work properly in our room or in the gym area, making everything uncomfortable. When we addressed these issues to the hotel manager, he was arrogant and dismissive instead of helpful. Because of this poor experience, we left the property two days earlier than planned. Location and design of rooms is good - but that is the only thing. I recommend staying away from this property.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 8-night stay at this lovely hotel.The housekeeping, front desk, concierge and restaurant staff are very professional and responsive, kudos to them. Room is very new and clean, big enough for a family of 4 to 5. Breakfast is simple and lack varieties, during my 8 nights they served the same food everyday, and mostly veggies options. Coffee is good though.My only comment is the lift waiting time. It needs an upgrade to cope with high occupancy rate. And the outside windows from the room, it needs to be cleaned. Its all covered with dust that I couldn't see clearly the outside view from my windows.Location is very convenient. Less than 2-min walking to the metro station. 1 stop to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Carrefour is about 10-min walk, and there is a very nice restaurant called Sansation DIFC, about 10-min walk from the hotel that serves very good Mediterranean food at a reasonable price.

Worst hotel experience ever. We had to wait more than 3 and a half hours just to check in. There was a huge line of guests waiting for the elevators because only 2 out of 4 elevators were working. How is it possible for a hotel with more than 48 floors to operate with only 2 elevators during a busy season like the Eid holidays? Completely unacceptable and very poorly managed. The staff seemed overwhelmed and no proper communication or apology was given to guests waiting for hours. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into frustration from the moment we arrived. The hotel clearly was not prepared for the number of guests, and the lack of organization made the whole experience stressful. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend staying here during peak seasons. On top of that, the parking situation was a complete mess. Our car got stuck because 5 other cars were blocking the way out, and we had to wait around 30 minutes just for the valet staff to move the cars so we could leave. For a hotel of this size, this level of poor management and disorganization is simply unacceptable.

I had the most beautiful romantic birthday dinner n I’m truly grateful to Ali and the whole F&B team :Ayathma Thamaradini, Amy Myint Mo and the chef team for making it unforgettable.Your politeness, professionalism and attention to detail were amazing. The decoration, dinner, service and cleanliness were all perfect. Thank you for making the dinner so special 🤍Also the valet team was so kind and courteous. For sure ,I’ll definitely visit again.🤍

I really like this hotel and usually choose it whenever I’m in Dubai. The rest of the team, as always, were good and helpful. However, during this stay, my experience with the front office staff and the manager was disappointing. They were uncooperative and rude, which is not the level of service I expect from Marriott. This was surprising, as my previous stays have always been positive.

I totally agree with Me bee regarding staff at front desk at residence inn very cold behavior! No hospitality basically courtesy in them to even look up and greet the guests ! Especially Ayushman and Amit behave as if they do not know u or do not care .Then ofc the elevator ongoing problem .waiting time minimum 30 minutes on ur floor .u call them down front desk they do not care .only Lorena my sales person was great goid person so I came here as long stay but staff needs to be more courteous polite concern ed
