We recently brought our cats over to Dubai. This was without a doubt the most stressful part of moving to a new country as they have been with us since each was a kitten and are like family. The Sandy Paws team was extremely helpful in guiding us through the import process, the step by step movement of the cats (once they landed) and regular whatsapp updates with pictures. They took the time to engage us and understand each cat’s personalities to ease the handling process. The cats were delivered to our place within 4 hours in perfect health. The Sandy Paws team shared their live location from departure at the airport to our apartment. While we know this is a team process and everyone should be commended, singling out the team members we engaged with directly namely Joy Cimatu who was constantly sharing whatsapp updates and both pre and post procedural requirements for pets being brought into UAE and Renel Basco who handled the physical pet import on behalf of Sandy Paws with constant pictures and updates throughout the night (and the updates were extremely thorough). He delivered the cats to our place early morning and the updates shared provided us with much assurance that they were in capable hands. Thank you to both Joy and Renel and the entire Sandy Paws team for amazing work making our move to Dubai much easier. Tofu and Miso thank you too.

Hi, I have two dogs who were in the United States, and I used Sandy Paws Relocation to bring them to Dubai. Their service was absolutely excellent. The team is very professional, kind, and highly skilled. My dogs were transported door-to-door, and everything was handled smoothly and with great care. They safely brought my dogs from the U.S. to Dubai without any stress. After delivery, they even sent me photos, which meant a lot to me. I bought a product through Amazon, and this store was the supplier. The package arrived perfectly sealed and in good condition on the outside, but when I opened it, the bag inside was already open, damaged, and the contents appeared to have been changed. I contacted Amazon, but the product is marked as non-returnable. I also contacted this store directly, but they refuse to take responsibility and instead blame Amazon or the transport company. I explained that if the damage had happened during transport, the outer package would also have arrived damaged. However, the packaging was completely intact while the inside product was broken and open. Not only that, but the food inside does not match the real product I buy every month for my cats. It is clearly different food. I am attaching photos so the difference can be seen. I called the store and received no solution at all. They completely washed their hands of the situation, and honestly I feel scammed. I lost my money, received the wrong product, and nobody is giving me any answers. I hope this review helps anyone considering buying from this store or through Amazon.

The best cat and dog boarding facility ever. The place is distinguished by cleanliness and by loving, professional, and extremely precise care—especially when it comes to administering medications and following the exact feeding method and quantities specified by the owner. Everyone there is very kind and highly cooperative. At first, my cat refused to eat, but Amir, who is responsible for cat care, personally fed him by hand every day for two weeks. In addition, they sent three video clips of my cat each day and allowed communication with them at any time during the day. This made me feel completely at ease and reassured about him while I was traveling. Many thanks to the entire team.

I really recommend this pet hotel! I left my two cats, Leo and Jack, there for 3 weeks, and Amir took such loving care of them. The place is great and the rooms are nice and spacious. They even made a WhatsApp group and kept sending lots of video updates about Jack and Leo, which I really appreciated. Thanks so much for taking such good care of my babies. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place for Cookie while we were away. MyPloto truly became his second home for the past two weeks 🐶🤍 The amount of love, care, and attention they gave him meant so much to us. Miss Meow is the only pet groomer I trust with my cat. I first tried them in 2024, and since then, I haven’t gone anywhere else. A special thank you to Ben and Jayson for always taking such good care of Rodi — I can really see the difference, and he never seems stressed after his grooming sessions, which means so much to me. I also appreciate Maria, Shalini, Marion, and Kissy for being so responsive and helpful whenever I book an appointment. They’re always easy to reach and accommodating. Overall, I’m truly happy with their service and the care they give to my cat.

Vihar and Hakim did a fanstastic job with grooming our Rosey. Rosey is typically nervous around groomers but she immidiately warmed Up to Vihar and Halim. Very pleasant and professional. Did a great job with Rosey’s trims, nails and ears. Would definitely recommend!

Hakim and Vihar did a spectacular job with my goldendoodle puppy’s first grooming. She was very nervous at first but they were very professional. I’ve seen some very unfortunate grooming results in Dubai but Miss Meow were exceptional.

I can’t say enough good things about Brian and Hakeem from Miss Meow Grooming! They came to our house yesterday for a grooming session, and the whole experience was so easy and stress-free. They were incredibly nice, professional, and attentive. I loved that they sent pictures and videos of my cat throughout the process, along with any concerns they noticed. I’m beyond happy with the service and will definitely use them again!

First time using Ms Meow for cat grooming, recommended by a friend, and it was a good experience overall. It’s a mobile service, which was very convenient, and they kept me updated throughout on what they were doing with our cat. The groomer was calm and handled our cat gently, which made a big difference. My cat came out clean and well groomed without seeming stressed. Would use them again.

I got to visit the RAK Animal Welfare Centre today and it will be the most memorable sunday I will ever have in my university journey. I got to volunteer and help take care of various animals that are being taken care of by the RAK Animal Welfare Centre, huge thanks to them for having us and keeping these animals safe and well taken care of. I was blessed enough to play and feed dogs and cats, walk them around, and even meet a horse and few goats. I developed a quick connection with the helpers at the shelter as well and they trusted me with certain dogs that were tougher to handle. I have had experience with dogs since my family and friends always had them, so it was easy to connect with the dogs as well and they have so much love and joy to give.

Such a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours giving some love to these precious souls, I highly recommend this as a worthy weekend activity!!! Thank you RAKAWC for doing such a wonderful job!! Many of these cats and dogs are abandoned / rescued and are waiting for their forever homes. Spending time with them, playing, giving them some company makes a big difference ❤️ When you visit you can spend time with the outdoor cats, indoor cats and the dogs in the dog park. All animals are clearly well looked after and the staff all seem very diligent. The cleanliness and organisation of the centre including the enclosures is clearly of a very high standard. I spent a lot of time with the indoor cats – there are about three in each room and most of them you can go into and in one section you can let them out into the corridor. I was quite comfortable sitting on the floor with them as it was so clean. A few cats were a bit timid and stayed away but the majority were super affectionate and playful. There are wands hanging on the wall for playing, which they love, and there are also sanitizer dispensers inside and outside. There are a few dog enclosures which the staff seem to switch the dogs between for exercise and socialisation. The big dog area is fantastic – there were a bunch of very friendly dogs that you can run and play with or take for a walk on a leash. They also have a dog pool. And some goats too! If anyone is considering fostering or adopting but isn’t yet sure, this is the perfect way to test it out and to meet a variety of different personalities. Also great for kids if you don’t have pets at home. It’s amazing to have such a great support for abandoned and reduced animals in the UAE. RAKAWC does an amazing job for so many animals in need. Inshallah these beautiful souls will all find homes soon 🙏🙏🙏 In the meantime, giving some time to these cats and dogs means the world to them. I cannot thank Dr Patrick, Dr Nicoleta, and the entire Modern Vet team enough for saving my beloved cat, Papook, during one of the scariest moments of my life. Dr Nicoleta at the JLT branch immediately recognised how serious Papook’s condition was and urgently referred us for hospitalisation at the Al Wasl hospital, where Dr Patrick took over his care. Dr Patrick showed exceptional professionalism, attention, compassion, and dedication throughout Papook’s treatment. He carefully monitored his condition, guided us through every stage of the process, and made me feel that Papook was in truly capable and caring hands. The team kept me updated every step of the way about his condition, treatments, and progress, which meant so much during such an emotional and stressful time. The nurses and staff were incredibly supportive, caring, and kind not only to Papook but also to me as a worried pet parent. The hospital is very well equipped and organised, and it was clear that the animals there receive proper medical attention and genuine care. Seeing Papook improve after such a severe kidney crisis honestly feels like a miracle to me. I am deeply grateful for the professionalism, dedication, compassion, and level of care shown by everyone involved in his treatment. Thank you for helping bring my boy back home ❤️

We cannot thank Dr. Theodora and her team enough for the incredible care they gave our cat, Mr. Truffle. He came in with a blocked urinary condition, which was extremely stressful for us, but from the very first moment we felt that he was in the best possible hands. Dr. Theodora handled everything with professionalism, calmness, and genuine compassion. She took the time to explain the situation clearly, kept us updated throughout, and made sure Mr. Truffle received the highest level of care. The attention to detail and dedication from the entire team was truly outstanding. What gave us even more peace of mind was knowing that the clinic is available 24/7. In situations like this, that level of accessibility makes all the difference. Today, Mr. Truffle is doing much better, and we are incredibly grateful. Dr. Rocio was wonderful during my cat’s check-up. She was professional, kind, and took the time to make sure everything was thoroughly examined. I really appreciated her gentle approach and clear explanations. As always, it was a great experience here at Modern Vet.

The staff and doctors have been absolutely incredible in the treatment of my cat, Sushi. During her spay surgery and recovery, the doctors provided support by explaining the procedure and care she received, and patiently answers all of my questions. I feel confident leaving my beloved cat in their care. Added recently: also would like to extend our thanks to Dr Ivan Horacio who has an obvious love for cats and whom I will always trust with mine.

In my experience today at the clinic was very upsetting. We spent the entire morning there doing an ultrasound and a bile acid test. While shaving my dog’s stomach for the ultrasound, her skin was accidentally cut several times with the razor and it bled. For the bile acid test they had to take blood twice, and we stayed at the clinic for about three hours because of the testing process. Unfortunately, later in the evening we received a call saying that something in the laboratory had broken and our test results were lost. We were asked to come back again to repeat the blood test. After everything my dog has already been through, this was very stressful for her and extremely disappointing for us. I hope the clinic improves their processes so that other pet owners do not have to go through the same situation.

The clinic would benefit from additional customer service training for staff handling patient communications. At times, conversations through WhatsApp seem more focused on debating requests than facilitating solutions, which can create unnecessary delays. A more customer-focused approach would greatly improve the patient experience and communication process. Moreover, I needed a CT scan for my cat, and the clinic I was visiting did not have CT scan facilities. Since the clinic I chose was able to provide the imaging service, I requested the referral form required for my appointment. However, my request was declined and I was directed toward a different clinic instead. I found this frustrating, as I was simply trying to access a service that was not available at the original clinic and wanted the freedom to choose where my pet would receive further care.
