Customer Reviews
Consulate of Thailand has a rating of 3.1 out of 5 based on over 393 reviews on Google
I am traveling to Thailand on Sunday night and my visa application is still pending. I am extremely worried because my departure date is very close and I have been unable to obtain clear information regarding my application. I also noticed that the office hours mentioned on the phone recording, website, and Google listing appear to be different, which is confusing for travelers with urgent visa matters. I would be very grateful if someone from the Consulate could kindly assist me or provide an update regarding my application before my flight.
Thai Food Market Sunday Dec 2024. Awesome food, bit pricy for a low budget event...but food is amazing. You get yummy pork skews, pad thai, sticky rice...all freshly prepared.
Amazing place for Thai people. Thank you for being so kind and heartfelt for Thai expat in UAE. Thai Consulate (Dubai) held Thai market on Sunday once a month during winter time for us. Everyone is welcome. Next market will be on Sunday 25 February.
before went there i check reviews and most of was negative but I went there today 5 May 2023 and everything was quick and smooth, then i realized that people who don’t have their own complete documents they just make complaints . even in consulate that kind of people is reason of your delay , because first they don’t have required documents and they don’t even ready to admit their mistakes and will start argues . so always carry your complete documents and be their on time i don’t think there be any issue . and from here i’m going to edit my review . i got visa + i visit thailand it was amazing experience, haven’t any bad experiences in thailand people are so friendly and cooperative , even i haven’t seen there any kind of scam . thanks to thailand consulate for provide me visa .
Well, have seen so many negative comments about the staff and especially the lady who works in counter" A" however I haven’t observed anything negative about the staff or attitude, everyone was so nice and explained everything clearly, i prepared all the documents in advance and was able to submit the documents from the 1st time and got my visa after 2 days. Thanks for the staff doing their job well.
There were so many flaws in the entire visa processing system, why do you ask for paid flight ticket to be submitted? Usually consulate ask for visa fee to be paid after issuing visa , why is your visa fee so high compared to Japan consul or Hongkong or Morrocco ? why do you take 40 days to process documents, why don't you ask all required documents at a time to speed up processing time instead of one at a time. All of this to reject visa at the end over a minor document mistake which was rectified. A tourist Visa for 6 days at that!! Very flawed system, I lost a lot of money. All most no consulate asks for paid flight ticket before issuing visa. Please rectify the system and have a look so it doesnt happen to other people and we lose thousands of hard earned money!!!!
The local consular numbers listed on the website (31, 32) are currently unreachable. Attempts to inquire about TR visa application status have been unsuccessful due to unanswered calls or consistently busy lines. Improvement in the consular service is recommended to ensure timely assistance for applicants, particularly as the TR visa application is a paid service.
